The drive

I-10 west to Sealy, then TX-36 north

38 miles · about 44 minutes

From Katy west of the Grand Parkway, take I-10 west to Sealy and turn north on Highway 36. Bellville is a straight run of farmland from there. Park on W. Austin St., and come in through the red doors at the front.

Your first Sunday

What it is like

Reverent worship, biblical preaching, and Holy Communion, about an hour in all. Page numbers are called aloud and a Prayer Book is handed to you, so no one is expected to know the responses. Come as you are, in anything from casual Sunday dress to church clothes. You may sit and simply take it in; there is no pressure to participate, give, or sign anything. Coffee and fellowship follow in the Adkins Hall, and Bible Study at 11:30, if you would like to stay.

What about my children?+
Children are warmly welcome in worship, and Sunday School meets after the service. A nursery with a toddler play area is open in the Adkins Hall for parents who want it; it is not staffed, so you stay with your little one.
May I receive Communion?+
All baptized Christians who love and trust the Lord are welcome at the rail, children included, from about the age of two. If you are not yet baptized, you are still invited to come forward with your arms crossed, and the priest will give you a blessing.
What if Anglican worship is new to me?+
Perfectly fine. No one is expected to follow along perfectly. Page numbers are called aloud, a Prayer Book is provided, and someone will gladly help you.
