Welcome to the Parish Journal

Fr. Mike Keppler

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We have opened this small journal as one more way of keeping in touch, both with our own parishioners and with anyone who wonders what life is like in a parish that still prays the old prayers. It is not a place for novelty. It is a place to set down, week by week, the things worth remembering.

You can expect a few simple kinds of writing here. Some entries will follow the Sunday sermon, drawing out a thought for the days that follow. Some will mark the feasts and seasons of the Church year as they come. And some will simply be news from the life of the parish, so that those who cannot always be present still have a share in what God is doing among us.

If you are new to St. Barnabas, we are glad you have found us. The Sacred still speaks, and our hope is that you hear it here, and then come and hear it with us at the Lord’s Table.

In Christ,

Fr. Mike Keppler
